Man robs Parkway Village Dollar Tree at gunpoint

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department is searching for a man they say robbed a Parkway Village Dollar Tree at gunpoint last week.

On Monday, the MPD released video surveillance footage of the incident.

According to police, around 1:30 p.m. on June 26, officers responded to a business robbery at 3200 South Perkins Road.

A single man with a gun entered the store wearing a black hoodie with the word “G.O.A.T.” written on the front, a purple ski mask, red shorts, black socks, and blue slides.

Police say the suspect approached an employee and pointed a handgun at them, demanding money from the register. The suspect allegedly made several threats to shoot the employee if they did not cooperate.

The victim opened the cash register and the suspect took the money before fleeing the business on foot.
