Man shot, killed in Rio Verde after confrontation with married couple
One man is dead after confronting another man and his wife in Rio Verde, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.
About 10 p.m. Monday, authorities said Kyle Kepler, 45, initiated a confrontation with Thomas Griffin, 31, and Griffin's wife.
During the confrontation, Kepler aimed a gun at the Griffins, officials said. Then, Griffin shot and killed Kepler, according to officials.
Griffin and his wife remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, officials said. The Sheriff's Office homicide unit was investigating the shooting.
