Man stabbed in Queens, found injured on subway: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was stabbed Saturday in Queens in a scuffle police believe involved more than two people, according to police sources.

The man was stabbed in the thigh about 10:10 p.m. Saturday near Jamaica Avenue and 146th Street, according to the NYPD.

The man fled and was found injured in transit nearby, but was not cooperative with police, officials said. He was taken to an area hospital but was not likely to die, police said.

A person was in custody related to an assault on another person, but it was not immediately clear if the stabber had been caught, according to police sources.

Police were still searching for more people that could have been involved in the scuffle, according to police sources.
