Man, woman wounded in early morning stabbing in south Bakersfield: KCSO

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man and woman were wounded in an early morning stabbing in south Bakersfield Tuesday, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

KCSO deputies reported to the 1100 block of Cannon Ave., just north of E. Belle Terrace, for reports of a man suffering from stab wounds at approximately 6:15 a.m.

At the scene, deputies also found a woman suffering from a minor injury. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, according to the office.

The office said the investigation is ongoing and no one has been arrested. No suspect information was released.
