Mandeville police officer involved in Friday night shooting
MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — At least one Mandeville police officer was involved in a shooting in the evening hours of Friday, July 5.
According to the Mandeville Police Department, the shooting took place in the 700 block of Heavens Drive.
University Medical Center seeks to identify injured man’s family
Details about the circumstances of the shooting aren’t currently being released, however, it has been reported that no officers were injured, the area has been secured and there is no threat to the public.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has been asked to investigate the situation.
