Marvel's Agatha Harkness spin-off series Agatha All Along is set to be "really scary", according to one of the big bosses at Marvel.

The villain from WandaVision is getting her own show on Disney's streaming service and according to Marvel Studios' Brad Winderbaum, it's going to give you a range of emotions.

"Agatha is really fun, but it's really scary. And it gets quite dramatic," he stated on The Official Marvel Podcast.

"She's an amazing anti-hero. It lures you in with the fun of Halloween, and before you know it, you're crying."

But don't worry if you're not a fan of horror, as Winderbaum added that: "It's a Marvel brand of scary.

"It's a Halloween show. There are deadly stakes in this series. It's a fun ride, but it's a dangerous one."

One of the stars of Agatha All Along is Heartstopper actor Joe Locke, who previously described the show as "camp".

He added: "The show is about misunderstood people and people who are alienated by their society for reasons that they can't control. I think that resonates a lot with the queer community."

Not only that, but Agatha actor herself Kathryn Hahn has teased that the show might feature "a little song here or there".

As well as Locke and Hahn the show also stars musical theatre legend Patti LuPone, The White Lotus' Aubrey Plaza, I Wish You All the Best's Miles Gutierrez-Riley and Spree's Sasheer Zamata.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Emma Caulfield will also return to the MCU, reprising her WandaVision role.

Agatha All Along premieres its first two episodes on Wednesday, September 18 on Disney+, with new episodes following weekly.
