The current jackpot is the eighth largest ever, the Mega Millions lottery said in a press release. All the jackpots won in 2024 were ranked in the top 10 highest jackpots ever. The highest win this year was $1.13 billion, with an estimated take-home value of $536.6 million.
That ticket was purchased at a ShopRite Liquor in New Jersey.
