Memorial wall dedication ride and ceremony in Erie to honor children lost from abuse

An event that serves as an opportunity to remember lost children while advocating for a safer future for all children will take place Sunday in Greene Township.

Join motorcyclists from near and far, along with the Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse, for the Angels Gone Too Soon Pennsylvania Memorial Wall Ride and Dedication from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. All community members are welcome whether they ride a motorcycle or not. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday but was pushed back to Sunday due to projected inclement weather.

The ride will begin at Belle Valley Fire Department, 1514 Norcross Road, and will end at the Greene Township Municipal Building at 9333 Tate Road. The official ride begins at 1 p.m.

At 1:30 p.m. Sunday, once all riders and participants reach the municipal building, there will be a dedication ceremony.

Each rider will be carrying a card to the wall with the name of an “angel gone too soon” symbolizing the memory of a child who lost their life due to abuse.
