Michigan to auction 91 properties this summer, including waterfront lots: How to bid

The state natural resources department is auctioning land online, 91 properties all together, later this summer — properties that don't quite fit in with the government's plans but might be just what you've always dreamed of owning.

Maybe it's a chance to pick up some property on which to build your cottage or dream home.

The auction proceeds, the department said, will be used to buy land for the public that will help provide more outdoor recreation opportunities and works better with the state's overall land management and conservation plans.
