Mildred Baena, Mother of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Love Child: Interview and Photos
The family housekeeper and mother of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 13-year-old illegitimate son has come out of hiding for an exclusive interview with Hello! magazine. Here are the highlights.
Mildred Baena was joined for a photo shoot by their son, Joseph. She also commented on the love and support of Schwarzenegger’s estranged wife Maria Shriver, who reportedly put “two and two together.”
When she first told her now-13-year-old son that his real dad was Schwarzenegger, his response was: "Cool!" When she first realized Schwarzenegger was the father: “It was as Joseph grew and I started to see the resemblance that I wondered—but it became more apparent as time went on.” On how Maria Shriver found out: "She would say things like, 'I'm here if you need to talk.'” Baena said. "Finally, she asked point blank." Baena broke down and confessed, and Shriver was very compassionate. “She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault, that it takes two.” On Arnold: “"He's a good man and I know he's suffering too. He loves Maria. I hope with time they work things out.”
