Millersport man sentenced to 100 months on child pornography and sextortion charges

MILLERSPORT − A Millersport man was sentenced to more than eight years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography and sextortion charges.

United States Attorney Kenneth L. Parker's office said Devin Miller, 27, distributed pornography involving a minor, along with other images, to extort an out-of-state victim for images of her.

Bailey was charged with the federal crimes in February 2023 and pleaded guilty in October 2023. A forensic review of Bailey’s electronic devices showed they had approximately 200 images and 20 videos of child sexual abuse material on them.

Parker's office said court records show Bailey used multiple online personas to extort the adult victim for explicit photos of herself. Miller also sent her pornographic photos of a child, who was 12 then. The adult victim recognized the girl.

Prosecutors said the minor victim thought she was sending explicit photos and videos to a female in Florida. But was actually sending them to Bailey, who was using another persona.

Bailey also threatened to distribute the child pornography of the minor female to family members of the adult victim and across the internet if the adult victim did not comply with his demands, prosecutors said.

Bailey had kept the child pornography for more than five years before sending the photos to the adult victim to coerce her into taking sexually explicit photos of herself.

Additionally, in May and June 2022, Bailey used numerous email addresses, cell phone numbers and Snapchat accounts to harass the adult victim and threatened to share pornographic images of her and the minor victim she knew, according to United States Attorney Kenneth L. Parker's office

He said if the adult victim did not send him new explicit photos or videos, he would use the older materials against her.

The prosecution said those threats continued for weeks and that Bailey consistently and aggressively messaged her. When she said she would call law enforcement, Bailey told her to do so because he was using untraceable numbers.
