Ministry of Defence ‘targeted by Chinese hack’

The Ministry of Defence has been targeted by a Chinese hack, it has been reported.

MPs will be told of the breach, which is said to have targeted service personnel, on Tuesday.

Investigations have not shown any data has been taken, according to Sky News, which first reported the breach.

The broadcaster said that the Government will not name the country involved but understands it to be China.
