Missing man found dead in State Game Lands in Lancaster County, police investigating

LITITZ, Pa. (WHTM) — Lititz Borough Police have located a man who was missing in State Game Land in Elizabeth Township, Lancaster County.

According to the Lititz Borough Police Department (LBPD) on Friday, September 20 at around 8:25 p.m., police began investigating a missing person report involving a Lititz man.

Police say they received information suggesting the man could be in the area of the State Game Lands in Elizabeth Township, Lancaster County.

Breaking News

Police then conducted several search efforts with the assistance of Middle Creek Search and Rescue, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Pennsylvania Game Commission, and Warwick Emergency Services Commission member fire companies, and mutual aid fire companies.

Police say, on Sunday, the missing male was found dead within the game lands. No word on the cause of death, or who was involved, at this time.

The LBPD adds that there was not, nor is there currently, any public safety concerns.
