Montgomery police name victim in Tuesday night shooting death

Montgomery police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that claimed the life of a 25-year-old Montgomery man.

Police responding to a report of a shooting at 8:03 p.m. found Lamarcus McCall with a fatal gunshot wound, said MPD Maj. Saba Coleman. McCall was pronounced dead at the scene in the 2500 block of Bridle Path Lane, police said.

MPD has classified the case as a homicide investigation. Police did not immediately release any other information about the shooting.
