More ramp closures coming on northbound I-135

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Department of Transportation will be closing an entrance and exit ramp soon on Northbound I-135.

Starting July 2, the on-ramp from East Central onto northbound I-135 will close, along with the northbound exit to 8th-9th Streets. KDOT says the closures are part of the northbound I-135 patching project from 2nd Street to 17th Street.

Fire department leaves scene of Park City fire

The agency says they believe work on the two ramps will be complete by late July, weather permitting. Wichita’s Dondlinger and Sons Construction is the primary contractor for the project.
