Morning and afternoon storms Monday…

There won’t be much rain overnight as a stray coastal shower may form. Otherwise it will be partly cloudy with temperatures Monday morning only dropping to around 80 degrees. Monday will feature late morning and afternoon storms eventually moving to the north Monday evening as temperatures rise to the low 90s.

Storms will be more likely Tuesday through Thursday with morning and afternoon rain as highs rise to the lower 90s as humidity stays oppressive and feels like temperatures will be at or above 100 degrees.

The upper level steering wind changes Friday and into the weekend which means sunny mornings and stormy afternoons and evenings with highs in the low to mid 90s after morning lows in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.

Beryl is expected to be a category 1 storm as it makes landfall between Corpus Christi and Galveston, Texas Monday morning. Otherwise saharan dust is keeping the tropics quiet.
