‘Morning Joe’ on air one day after being pulled from MSNBC

One day after being yanked from the air, “Morning Joe” is back on MSNBC.

The popular cable news show was sidelined Monday in favor of continuing coverage of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.

A gunman fired several shots from an AR-style rifle at Trump while he spoke Saturday at a campaign rally in Butler, Pa.

Trump was struck in the right ear; two people were critically wounded and a Pennsylvania firefighter was killed trying to protect his family.

Why was ‘Morning Joe’ off the air?

CNN had reported Sunday night that “Morning Joe” was going to be off the air for Monday morning’s 6-to-10 time slot over partly over concerns a guest might make an impertinent statement about the assassination attempt on Trump’s life.

Joe Scarborough, a former Republican congressman, hosts “Morning Joe” weekdays from 6 to 10 a.m, and regularly features guests from the news and political realm analyzing news topics.

On Tuesday’s broadcast, Scarborough immediately dug into analysis of the shooting, with a lengthy discussion about whether Secret Service failed to adequately protect Trump.
