Harley passenger killed in collision near Rock Hill: HP

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – An investigation is underway after a passenger on a motorcycle was killed in a collision with an SUV near Rock Hill, South Carolina Highway Patrol announced on Thursday.

Troopers responded to calls regarding the incident around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday on Paraham Road near Rock Hill. Two victims were found suffering from injuries and were transported to an area hospital where one of the passenger victims later succumbed to injuries.

An initial investigation stated that a Honda SUV struck a motorcycle with two people onboard at the intersection of Paraham and Windyrun Lane. the victims transported were the two motorcycle occupants.

There is no mention of any charges at this time and this remains an active investigation.
