Motorcyclist dies following collision in Howard County early Saturday

Aug. 11—A motorcyclist is dead after hitting a truck in Laurel early Saturday morning.

According to Howard County Police, the 2021 Suzuki GSX-S750 motorcycle was heading north on Washington Boulevard just past Lynn Buff Court when it hit a truck making a left turn onto southbound Washington Boulevard around 4:10 a.m.

The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. Those in the truck were not hurt, police said.

Howard County Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
