Motorcyclist leaves road on Ducati, killed in Potter County crash: Pa. State Police

A 59-year-old Centre County, Pennsylvania cyclist was killed in July following a motorcycle crash in Potter County, Coudersport-based State Police reported on Monday.

Troopers said the crash occurred July 20 at about 2:30 p.m. on Pine Hill Road in Stewardson Township.

State Police said a motorcycle driven by Anthony M. Deonna of Bellefonte, Pa. was northbound, west of Rausch Road, when it went out of control for an unknown reason while negotiating a left-hand curve.

Troopers said the bike veered off the right side of the road, hit a dirt embankment and at least two large rocks before skidding 17 feet.

Investigators said Deonna was thrown from the motorcycle in the crash.

He was taken to UPMC Williamsport Hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.
