MPD searching for suspect responsible for fatal shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police are reaching out to the public as they continue to search for a suspect responsible for fatally shooting one person and critically injuring another.

On July 11 at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 3200 block of N. Watkins Street.

Officers located two shooting victims at the location. One was pronounced deceased on the scene and the other was taken to an area hospital for his injuries.

Through their investigation, officers have determined that the suspect is a man with a medium build, last seen wearing a navy blue True Religion hoodie with a large logo on the back and a small logo on the front, a decorative belt, black pants and white Nike shoes.

At this time, police say no arrests have been made at this time, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
