Mt. Juliet Police seize drugs concealed in Taco Bell wrappers & tortillas

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Mt. Juliet Police seized drugs disguised in Taco Bell wrappers and tortillas on Friday.

According to a post on X, formerly Twitter, the agency seized illicit substances including meth, LSD, THC and fentanyl-laced gummies, pills and marijuana during a traffic stop on Friday afternoon. The agency said that the stop took place on Interstate 40 and was originally for a suspended license.

An unnamed 37-year-old woman from Nashville, which Mt. Juliet Police said was wanted in three counties, was arrested during the stop. Her charges included failure to appear in Sumner County court, drug possession in Rutherford County and failure to appear in Wilson County court.

“Thanks to our diligent team, these dangerous drugs are off the streets, and this wanted individual is now behind bars,” the department said in the post.
