How much are stamps? New mail prices now in effect

Better grab another handful of change to buy stamps.

The cost of a First-Class stamp went up last week.

How much is a stamp?

As of July 14, the cost of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp in the United States is 73 cents.

That’s up from 68 cents previously and follows multiple price increases in recent years.

The cost of a standard stamp has gone up 33 percent since July 2021 when it was 55 cents.

Other mail rates went up, too.

Postcards are now 56 cents and Certified Mail costs $4.85.
