Music teacher exposed himself to multiple victims, including girl: Long Beach PD

A music instructor suspected of exposing himself to a female minor on more than one occasion and two women in previous separate incidents has been arrested, Long Beach police announced Wednesday.

The young victim told law enforcement in October that she was subjected to indecent exposure incidents in February and March of 2022.

Through further investigation Child and Elder Abuse detectives identified 25-year-old Silas Topzand of Long Beach as the suspect responsible, the Long Beach Police Department stated in a news release.

Topzand was already wanted in connection with a pair of separate indecent exposure incidents involving women in Long Beach. The first took place in September 2021 and the second in January 2022.

Topzand was located and arrested in the city of San Pedro on June 6, police said.

He was transported to Long Beach City Jail where he was booked on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child, and indecent exposure.

Topzand was being held on $150,000 bail.

Detectives believe there may be additional unreported incidents and have asked any possible victims to call investigators at 562-570-7321.
