Naperville Police Arrests for July 8-11

The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt:

  • A 42-year-old woman from Westmont was arrested on a charge of battery/bodily harm at 6:28 July 8 at the Naperville Police Station, 1350 Aurora Ave.

  • A 21-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on charges of attempted murder, armed robbery and aggravated battery/firearm at 7:02 July 8 in the 300 block of South Lincolnway in North Aurora.

  • A 55-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of mob action and contributing to the criminal delinquency of a minor at 2:31 a.m. July 9 in the 100 block of North Main Street in Sycamore.

  • A 19-year-old man from Sugar Grove was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass to a vehicle at 3:29 p.m. July 10 in the 2400 block of Aurora Avenue in Naperville.

  • A 23-year-old man from Kimball, Minnesota, was arrested on a charge of resisting a peace officer at 7:28 a.m. July 10 in the 1300 block of Ada Lane in Naperville.

  • A 24-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of battery and knowingly damaging property at 10:27 July 10 in the 1000 block West Ogden Avenue in Naperville.

  • A 29-year-old man from Chicago was arrested on charges of disobeying a traffic control device, driving under the influence alcohol, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver and failure to signal when required at 12:29 a.m. July 11 at West Ogden Avenue and Aurora Avenue.

  • A 41-year-old man from Carpentersville was arrested on a warrant and on charges of theft lost/mislaid property, theft-over $500 and obstructing identification at 1:25 a.m. July 11 at Meridian Lakes Drive and North Route 59.

  • A 29-year-old man from Plainfield was arrested on a warrant at 1:42 a.m. July 11 at Platinum Avenue and North Route 59.

  • A 52-year-old woman from Aurora was arrested on a warrant and on charges of driving on a suspended/revoked license, driving with canceled, suspended or revoked registration and driving without insurance at 6:21 p.m. July 11 at Brookdale Road and Bond Street.
