Ryan Blaney's win at Pocono will help his playoff point total, but the wild-card picture changed a bit as a result of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race.

Blaney is now up to 12 playoff points accrued through the first 21 races of the season, a solid number as the driver of the No. 12 Team Penske Ford pushes for his Cup Series title defense.

Wild-card hopefuls Ty Gibbs, Ross Chastain and Kyle Busch all suffered DNFs on Sunday, denting their points situations. Chastain is now in 16th as the final wild card, 27 points ahead of Bubba Wallace. Busch is now 102 points behind Chastain and will almost certainly need a win over the next five races to make the playoffs.
