President Joe Biden is scheduled to sit down for a televised interview Monday evening, his second since the presidential debate, which fueled questioning about his competency and candidacy and his first since the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump Saturday afternoon.

The president's most recent sit-down interview with "Good Morning America" and "This Week" anchor George Stephanopoulos aired on July 5. It was his first televised interview since the presidential debate.

On Sunday evening, following the shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania, Biden delivered an address to the nation.

Now, on Monday evening, the country will watch as Biden sits down with NBC's Lester Holt for a one-on-one conversation. Here is how you can watch the full interview.

When and where will Joe Biden's interview with Lester Holt air?

The full, unedited interview will air on Monday at 9 p.m. as part of an NBC News primetime special, per NBC. However, portions of the interview will go live on Monday at 6:30 p.m. on "NBC Nightly News."

At 9:30 p.m., following the president's interview, NBC will switch over to coverage of night one of the Republican National Convention.

Viewers can also stream the special at 9 p.m. on the NBC News Now digital platform.

This interview was originally scheduled to take place in Austin, Texas but has since been moved to the White House following the events at the Trump Rally Saturday afternoon. While in Austin, the president was also supposed to speak at the LBJ Presidential Library to mark the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act. This program has been postponed, according to a press release from the LBJ Library.

Who is Lester Holt?

Lester Holt is a journalist and anchor of "NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt" as well as "Dateline NBC."

Holt has reported on a variety of topics from all over the world, dubbed by Hollywood Reporter/Morning Consult Poll as the "most trusted television news personality in America." Today, according to his profile on NBC, he primarily leads special reports and covers breaking news and primetime political coverage.

The Republican National Convention

Holt's interview with Biden will take place on the same night as the start of the Republican National Convention where Trump is likely to be officially nominated as the presidential candidate and is expected to announce his running mate and the potential vice president.

The Republican National Convention will run from July 15 through July 18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The Democratic National Convention will be held in Chicago from Aug. 19 through Aug. 22.
