NMSP releases data on arrests for the first 6 months of 2024
NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police have released data showing how many arrests they’ve made so far in 2024. NMSP announced they made 4,686 arrests including 655 for DWI. NMSP investigated ten homicides statewide and said they solved nine.
Bernalillo County Sheriff announces new ‘Metro Unit’ to fight crime in Albuquerque
NMSP said they seized 234 pounds of meth and 259 pounds of fentanyl along with 80 grams of crack cocaine. They recovered 98 stolen vehicles and seized 49 guns including nine that were stolen. They also gave out 82,808 traffic citations.
