NYPD cops subdue man with Taser during fight on Manhattan street

EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) — NYPD officers used a Taser to subdue a man who was fighting with them on a Manhattan street Friday, police said.

Scared pedestrians flagged the cops about an angry man acting aggressively near Lexington Avene and 125th Street at around 11:20 a.m., according to the NYPD. The officers tried to talk to the man before a fight ensued, police said.

The cops then used the Taser so they could take him into custody, officials said. The man was sent to the hospital for treatment.

The officers and the man were not injured during the incident.
