Teen girl shot during pool party at Antioch apartment complex

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 15-year-old girl was injured in a shooting during a pool party at an apartment complex in Antioch Thursday evening.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, at the Cambridge at Hickory Hollow apartment complex located at 660 Bell Road.

According to Metro police, a pool party advertised on Instagram was happening at the complex when shots were fired from the parking lot.

A 15-year-old girl, who did not live at the apartment complex, was wounded in the left butt cheek. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) for treatment. Her condition is unknown.

No additional information was immediately released.
