One person taken to hospital after reported stabbing in Baton Rouge, officials say

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — One person was taken to the hospital after a reported stabbing on Scotland Avenue, according to emergency medical officials.

EMS said the person was transported in stable condition.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said they were called around 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23.

They responded and found a victim who “sustained a non-life threatening stab wound,” BRPD said.

BRPD is also investigating after Marvus Green, 32, was found shot to death inside a vehicle in the 2600 block of Cedar Avenue on Sunday, July 21.
