If you bought one or more of the above products from July 5 through July 12 and still have it on hand, dispose of it immediately or return any recalled vegetables to the place of purchase. Listeria infection, referred to as listeriosis, can be especially serious for those who are immunocompromised, pregnant or age 65 or older. Common symptoms of listeriosis include fever, muscle aches, tiredness, nausea and vomiting. In more severe cases, headaches, stiff neck, loss of balance, confusion and seizures can occur.

Contact your health care provider immediately if you’re experiencing any of the above symptoms after consuming a recalled product. Follow the FDA’s safe handling and cleaning procedures after coming into contact with the potentially contaminated produce to avoid infection, as Listeria can easily spread to other food, surfaces and people.
