Pair charged in quadruple shooting outside restaurant on Gravois
ST. LOUIS – A man and woman have been charged with murder following a quadruple shooting last month in the city’s Tower Grove East neighborhood.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statements, the shooting happened on July 28 around 8:40 p.m. in the parking lot of Sam’s Southern Eatery, located on the 3500 block of Gravois.
Police said Katrina R. Kelly, 33, drove Kyle E. Penton, 37, and a third person to the restaurant. Penton and the third suspect approached a car parked on the lot and shot three people seated in that vehicle. A woman in the vehicle died from her wounds.
Gunfire struck a fourth victim, who was seated on the sidewalk nearby. It’s unclear if that individual was an intended target.
