Pennsylvania driver tried to bite and kick Troopers after DUI crash, PSP says
MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A Pennsylvania woman is facing charges for allegedly trying to assault Pennsylvania State Police troopers after a crash in McVeytown Borough.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the 27-year-old Indiana County woman traveled over the curb while heading north near the area of 5696 US Hwy 522 South on July 30, side-swiping a utility trailer at the McVeytown Volunteer Fire Department before coming to rest in the roadway.
The driver reportedly was operating a Ford Escape and allegedly showed signs of impairment.
State Police says the driver fought troopers off as they took her into custody for DUI, allegedly biting and kicking as she attempted to resist arrest.
According to court records, the woman is being charged with Resisting Arrest, Aggravated Assault, and Harassment. She was released on $50,000 bail.
