Pennsylvania man allegedly stole $60,000 in wiring & caused $70,000 in damage

PALMYRA, Pa. (WHTM) – A Pennsylvania man is facing charges after allegedly stealing tens of thousands of dollars of wiring and electrical components and causing just as much damage in Lebanon County.

Western Lebanon County Regional Police say on June 11 officers responded to the former PACMA Mill on East High Street in Palmyra. Police say they found Timothy Costello, who attempted to flee but was taken into custody.

Police say Costello admitted to stealing wiring and electrical components from the building over the course of several weeks. It’s estimated that Costello stole approximately $60,000 worth of property from the building and a repair estimate indicated it would cost $70,000 in labor to repair the damage.

Costello is facing felony charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief. He’s being held in the Lebanon County Prison on $100,000 bail.
