Peoria police seek help in finding armed robbery suspect

PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Peoria police are requesting help from the public to find a person accused in a Sept. 1 stabbing and subsequent robbery

At 10:30 a.m. Sept. 1, officers were sent to the 3200 block of Northeast Adams Street on a report of an armed robbery where the victim was stabbed. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries, said Semone Roth of the Peoria Police Department.

The man, 48, told police they took his wallet and fled on foot, Roth said.
