Person seriously injured after motorcycle crash on Transmountain

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person suffered serious after a single motorcycle crash early Thursday morning, July 25, on Transmountain, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched just before 1 a.m. on Thursday to mile marker 19 on Loop 375/ Transmountain in reference to the crash.

The driver was traveling eastbound on Loop 375 when the crash happened and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

All eastbound lanes on Transmountain Road were closed for several hours but have since opened up early Thursday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is currently ongoing.
