Person struck by train in Brooklyn; B, Q lines delayed: MTA

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A person was struck by a train at the Seventh Avenue station in Brooklyn Tuesday evening, according to the MTA.

The B and the Q lines are running with delays in both directions, the agency said.

Northbound lines have been temporarily rerouted. The Q trains are running via the N line from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to DeKalb Avenue and the B trains are running via the D line from Brighton Beach to DeKalb Avenue.

Commuters are encouraged to take one of the following travel alternatives:

  • Take a shuttle bus for service between Church Avenue and DeKalb Avenue

  • For service between ‌Prospect Avenue and Brighton Beach, take the B68 bus making nearby stops.

  • For service between 7th Avenue and Prospect Park, take the B69 or B67 bus.

  • For service between Brooklyn and Manhattan, take a DN or R train.

  • For service in Manhattan along the Q line, take the 6 train.

  • For service in Manhattan and The Bronx along the B line, take the D train.
