PHOTOS: Fire affecting I-80 in Tooele County, right lane closed

TOOELE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The Utah Department of Transportation alerted drivers about a fire affecting a roadway in Toole County on Tuesday night.

According to UDOT, the fire was burning near milepost 53 on I-80 in Tooele County. The fire closed the right lane for several hours after first beginning around 7:30.

Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cam Roden told ABC4.com that the fire was under investigation, and provided the following images.

The scene was originally estimated to be cleared around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, but UDOT did not indicate that the scene was clear after that initial end time passed.

Officials did not immediately provide information about what caused the fire.
