UPDATE: 1 victim in Eastside bar shooting has died; other remains hospitalized

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Police continue to investigate an early Sunday morning shooting outside an East Side bar that is now considered a murder.

Police responded just after 12:20 a.m. Sunday morning, July 21 to reports of a shooting at Legendz Bar at 1610 N. Zaragoza.

Two men were injured in the shooting, which happened out in the parking lot in front of the bar, police said.

One of the victims, a 24-year-old man from Fort Bliss, has died, police said. The second victim, a 26-year-old man from Fort Bliss, remains hospitalized.

Police did not say if the men were soldiers.

The Crimes Against Persons and Criminalistics units responded to assist in the investigation.

El Paso Police are continuing to investigate this incident. No other information has been released at this time.
