Police arrest 11-year-old Prattville Christian Academy student in school threat case
PRATTVILLE − Police in Prattville have charged an 11-year-old student at Prattville Christian Academy with making a threat to the private school.
Police Chief Mark Thompson confirmed the arrest. Law enforcement in Autauga, Elmore and Montgomery counties have arrested about half a dozen students in the past week for making threats to local schools. Most of the threats were via social media.
The threats came after a school shooting in Georgia that left two students and two teachers dead. There were no incidents at local schools, as they operated on regular attendance days last week.
