Jul. 22—ANDERSON — Anderson police have identified seven people injured by gunshots in an incident early Sunday morning.

Those wounded range in age from 18 to 25.

The seven people are all listed in stable condition. The injured are: Kenaries Ross, 18; Elijzah Stoebe, 19; Sundae Maddox, 21; Giyanna Paige, 22; Johnnie Gosha Jr., 22; Tatyana Little, 23; and Shelby Skipper, 25.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, according to a press release from the Anderson Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Arrow Avenue shortly after midnight Sunday morning.

After officers were dispatched on a report of a large gathering, they found the roadway blocked by several people fighting.

A few moments later, the urgency escalated as gunshots erupted, according to APD public information officer Caleb McKnight.

As officers made their way through the crowd toward the gunfire, they found the gunshot victims. At least 30 shots can be heard on video from the scene, McKnight said.

Officers assisted the injured and secured the area. The wounded were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
