Police identify Route 220 crash victims
Jul. 3—RAWLINGS — The drivers killed in Monday's two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 220 and Barton Park Drive have been identified by the Allegany County Sheriff's Office.
Police said Zachary Michael Robinson, 35, and Laura Michele Wilson, 41, both residents of Rawlings, died from injuries in the 7:33 p.m. crash despite lifesaving efforts of law enforcement and emergency personnel.
Police are asking any witnesses of the crash to contact Senior Deputy A. Plummer, the lead investigator, or Senior Deputy Martel at the sheriff's office at 301-777-1585.
The collision investigation is being conducted by the Allegany County Sheriff's Crash Team with the assistance of members of the Cumberland Police Department Crash Team and Mountain Maryland Search and Rescue drone pilots.
