Police find man shot to death in Prince George’s County during welfare check

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said a man was found shot dead during a welfare check in Lanham on Thursday morning.

Police said they responded to the 7700 block of Annapolis Rd at about 11:30 a.m. for a welfare check.

When officers arrived at the scene they found a man who had been shot to death.

Police are working to find the suspect(s) and determine the motive.
