Police seek video, tips after massive brawl near Santa Monica Pier

As authorities in Santa Monica continue to investigate a large fight that occurred near the Santa Monica Pier on June 29, they are now asking the public for their help.

Reports of the brawl came in around 2:21 p.m. on the 29th on the beach near Tower 14, and a Santa Monica Police Department drone quickly confirmed the active fight, police said.

Dozens of officers responded and broke up the fight, which began when a street vendor attacked several beachgoers, the Santa Monica Police Department said.
