Police search for man wanted in connection with hit-and-run that killed TSU football player

Metro Nashville police issued a warrant Thursday for the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the April 14 hit-and-run crash that killed Tennessee State football player Chazen Page.

Arsenio D. Miller, 33, is wanted on charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving death, failure to render aid, failure to give immediate notice of a crash and failure to report a crash.

Police said Page, 20, was crossing Gallatin Pike around 1:30 a.m. when he was struck by a maroon SUV. A Ford Edge registered to Miller that had front end damage consistent with striking a pedestrian was found April 15 in the backyard of a home belonging to a relative of Miller on Oakhurst Drive.

Page was an offensive lineman for Tennessee State University's football team. At 6-foot-1, 295 pounds, Page was a two-year starting offensive lineman at Tennessee State. He primarily played center and was one of only three offensive linemen who started every game in 2023.

Police said in a news release Miller refused to be interviewed by police. Investigators believe it is reasonable to think Miller as owner had knowledge of who was driving the vehicle that struck Page.

Anyone who knows Miller's whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
