Pomona man caught in prostitution sting with his baby in backseat
A Pomona man was arrested for soliciting sex from a prostitute while his 8-month-old baby was in the backseat of his vehicle on Thursday.
The 30-year-old man was arrested during an anti-human-trafficking operation on East Holt Avenue, the Pomona Police Department said in a news release.
The man, whom police described as “a sex purchaser,” was pulled over, and in his back seat, police found an 8-month-old child.
The Department of Children and Family Services “was immediately contacted” and took custody of the baby, police said.
“The child was unharmed, and the father is cooperating with the investigation,” police added.
The man faces charges of prostitution and child endangerment.
