Prayer vigil to be hosted for victims of violence

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls will host a prayer vigil Tuesday night for the victim who was shot in Dunham Park.

On Tuesday, September 3 at 5:30 pm, a prayer vigil will be held for 29-year-old Joshua Allen who was killed at the park on August 25th.

The vigil’s goal is to reclaim the place where violence has occurred and pray for the people who are victims of violence, as well as the family members of the shooter.

The vigil will last approximately 30 minutes and is sponsored by Pax Christi South Dakota. Participants are encouraged to meet on the grass in the first left parking area.
