PGPD identifies 17-year-old boy shot, killed in Bowie

BOWIE, Md. (DC News Now) — Police said a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in Bowie Monday night.

The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said around 6:35 p.m. on June 24, officers were called to the 900 block of Lake Overlook Drive for a shooting.

Upon arrival, police found 17-year-old Re’Sheed Reid, of Bowies, in the road with gunshot wounds.

He died at the scene.

The police department said detectives are still working to determine a motive and identify a suspect.
