PSP: Fleeing motorcyclist dragged trooper on Route 22

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — State Police in Lebanon County are seeking a motorcyclist they say dragged a trooper who was attempting to remove them from the bike.

State Police at Jonestown said the incident happened around 10:35 a.m. Saturday on Route 22 in Swatara Township.

Three motorcycles passed a state trooper conducting speed enforcement at 121mph.

The trooper attempted to pull the three bikes over and a pursuit ensued, ending on Route 343.

Later, one of the motorcycles — ridden by two people — passed troopers again.

The motorcycle was brought to a stop and a trooper attempted to remove the operator, who then accelerated, dragging and injuring the trooper.

None of the motorcycles involved had registration places.
